A requested artwork from *nakiEmina for editing the script of my game deIz.She mentioned she wanted something sad to fit in the typhoon we just had in our place. I hope this is okay.

I usually don't comment on front page deviations - they usually have enough comments. But I have to say, not only is the technique on this piece absolutely great - I absolutely envy your cell shading, I can never get is quite right - but without even studying this piece in detail you can feel the emotion coming out of it. From the tilt of the picture to the way you have the sun shining on one side, darkness on another... just WOW.

i really like this!
mostly i like the perspective.. you always expect sad paintings of people lying down to be from above (bird's eye, etc).
i also like the fact that's it's dawn.. tho she does look rather hopeless, with the whole sinking thing going.. but the sun also gives those amazing refletctions on her body!
the only criticism i think would be the shirt.. because it seems to be nice and crisp over her boobs, but then has no weight over the rest of her body.. wet material just doesn't look like that..
