This art piece speaks to me.
The title perplexes me so
"testing something, you can ignore this post"
A challenge? Or a delve into the human psyche and how we tend to not obey when told to do something.
Or is it something else? I haven't even gotten to the art piece itself!
The black on the white background really makes it pop.
And such a simple message "I'm a dot"
Or "I'm a Dox"
Simple but profound and right to the point.
The jagged lines bring forth the feeling of anxiety not an easy feat.
The smiley face though clearly in pain tries their best to convey happiness.
Despite being deformed.
Truly this should be put in the Louvre next to such works as La belle ferronnière, The Mona Lisa and Oath of the Horatii.
