Im sorry yusuf XD i liked u a lot! i did. I got sad when you died. I totally didnt expect it O_O;;
You were a brief friend, and i wish you survived. But alas, r.i.p.
Also i was sad that leo wasnt even mentioned in acr, and this weird thought came to mind as soon as i found yusuf dead XD

XD lol not saying leo did it out of jealousy. But it would have been a funnier turn of events. In a way, the way yusuf pushed himself on ezio trying to be overly friendly, specially when you dont really know him. I thought ubisoft wanted to make another Leo... and that just cant happen.

Also, Farewell Yusuf and farewell Leonardo <3 you were both very loved ;^;

Haha, we all saw it coming...Leo rejected the invitation to join the Brotherhood, so it's aight.
Yusuf was the sweetheart of the game and my eye candy o.0 I freaking thought I was going to cry when I saw him...there...dead >.<

I didn't had my hopes up that Leo was going to be on ACR or even mentioned, the downloadable chaper from Brotherhood felt like a goodbye for me :/

Fo sho'. One of the first things I thought when starting ACR was if I could play an entire game without Leo. I weep almost half of the game missing him XD.

But yes, Yusuf's death was quite unexpected and a sad moment. He was an awesome character! And I'm quite angry that Leonardo wasn't even mentioned in ACR so he better be in DLC!

Ubisoft already confirmed a few months ago that the next game set for November 2012 will feature Desmond as the main character in the modern timeline, to finish his story and tie everything up.
And it makes sense, especially after ACR's ending.
They also confirmed that the games will slow down after that (as in not a new one every year) because the next ones will most likely be on the new PS/Xbox consoles, and it's pretty safe to say that the new AC game(s) after Desmond's game will feature completely new characters.

From what I understood, yes. AltaΓ―r's story is now finished, and so is Ezio's, but Desmond still has a job to do which will be what the next game will be about.
After that Desmond's story will most likely be done as well. There's only so much you can do with a character after all.
So the new AC games to be made on the next gen consoles will most likely feature a protagonist with one or more new ancestors and a complete new story.
That's just what I think will happen though. For all we know they will continue with Desmond but I sincerely doubt it. Perhaps a relative of Desmond or something. I don't know. Here's the article about Desmond's upcoming game: [link]
