For anyone else reading: blah spoilers of The New Prophecy.
One of Firestar's daughters (and others) were taken by some construction workers in the forest and Greystripe leads a team to rescue them from the temporary pound or humane society nearby. In the attack basically everyone is freed (to my memory), but when Greystripe went to rescue a straggler from inside, he is taken by someone, put in a car, and driven away.
He then has some of his own graphic novels where he is alone trying to find the new camp with some barn/pet cat. I haven't read these. I just know that the illustrator for those books makes him look like some really really old (18 years or something) cat, and I don't like it.
