Description
The Sabancaya volcano is an active stratovolcano located in Peru and belongs to a volcanic group whose most eruptions are from the Pleistocene formed by the volcanoes Nevado Hualca-Hualca, Ampato and Sabancaya.

A plume of smoke and ash is thrown into the air like a cloud from a nuclear explosion as shown in this image from the Sabancaya eruption on July 13, 1990 and a 2 km high ash plume rose and the eruption states remained until September 16, 1998.
