But in the seriousness, I started doodling Dan the day he got injured, kinda drew just to keep myself away from crying out of fear of what may happen to him. Of course my fears were realized the next day, when I had to say my farewells to my dear Dan. Obviously I ended up finishing the whole thing, kinda helped to have a visual reminder of his silly ways and quirks that made him who he was.
