I really need to do more full cgs... ~__~;; More randoms, 1 orc that turned into Akuma and i've been getting into bird anatomy and wings still confuse me so just a cartoony bird for now. Currently trying to work towards monsters and creatures too.Here's a quick pixel paint load-up i did on groupboard too: [link]

Alright, I need to comment.
This looks amazing, just in sketch form, one of the main reasons I watch you is because you inspire me.
But can you tell me, how long have you been drawing to reach this skill level? And how did you practice to get this good?
I'm finding it hard to grasp the sketch shading and such, I was wonderingβ other than those questions, could you possibly give me any tips on how to improve myself.
But apart from the Questions and Advice seeking, I'd like to say I really like this piece, not only due to the great mixture of figures, but because of the details and odd bold areas.
Although it may only be a sketch and not CG, I like it very much. A fav from me ^^

I've drawn seriously for 3 years now from self-learning and studying anatomy from Andrew Loomis books. Its probably better if you take art classes if you can afford them. If not, like me, then studying and reading books is probably one of the best ways to go. I found it hard to learn entirely from looking at other artwork and i feel i've improved alot more from learning the fundamentals. From there on, just practice alot and it'll become natural.

Been a little down lately, feeling my work wasn't getting any better, as if it had just come to a hault, so thanks, all this has really helped me.

Do you use guidelines for these sketches or...just know exactly what you are doing??

I usually use guidelines when attempting perspectives and dynamics, but for simple front on drawings i just draw it straight out. For these sketches, i don't think i erased any lines besides a simple cross line on the face.

Wow, that's really impressive. Your sketches stay free of extra guidelines and yet look just as good as if you'd planned them out very carefully in sketch first. That's amazing!
