It is already late evening when Flurry Heart and Crystal Petal visited the old castle of Princess Twilight Sparkle. Nebula the daughter of Twilight moved into the castle just a few days ago. Crystal and Flurry wanted to check on Nebula and help her unpack the boxes. There was almost silence in the castle ,only the steps of second ponies were listening. Only the light of a pair of candles was visible, radiating a slight light. The two ponies slowly came out of the shadows.
"Say Crystal? Is there a reason you're here?" ,she looked at the gray mare and waited for her answer "I mean, it's not exactly around the corner where you live,"
Crystal hesitated, "Um, well..." she sighed softly, "I'm here to visit Nebula and get under her hooves." She looked at the white mare with a slightly nervous look.
"Oh ok. You know what?" She smiled, "I'm here for the same reason you are."
Crystal was surprised "Really?!" she looked at Flurry.
"Well... I'm not doing this by choice." ,The happy look turned into a pissed off look. "My mother made me do it. She said, "This way you can spend more time as cousins, that's the real reason." She rolled her eyes.
For a while there was silence again. "Say, Flurry, what have you got against Nebula?" Crystal was nervous again, but she was also curious. There was silence in the castle again.
"...What do you think?" Flurry looked at the gray mare again. "What have I got against her?"
Crystal stopped, "You don't notice that?" ,she spoke very softly.
"I beg your pardon? Could you say that again, please? I couldn't hear you."
Crystal got mad and stomped on the floor with her right hoof. "Do you notice anything else about Flurry...?" ,She snorted in anger.
Flurry was surprised that Crystal had never been so upset in her life. She was always such a calm and shy pony. "I don't quite understand... ...what do you mean?"
Crystal sighed, "If you have nothing against her... w... ...why do you always pick on her and discriminate against her?" Her eyes got serious and she didn't want to listen to any more excuses from Flurry.
"..." ,Flurry was silent and her face became emotionless.
She snorted again, "Why aren't you speaking up?!" ,she slowly started moving again.
"It has nothing to do with her..." ,Her eyes were avoiding Crystal's.
She looked at Flurry, "Then what is it? You can tell me." ,Crystal kept looking at her.
"...I.I can't tell you... sorry." she kept evading her gaze and looking down at the floor instead.
Crystal sighed, "All right, don't tell me. But as her best friend, I'm telling you not to bother her anymore..." she went right on without waiting for Flurry Heart.
~What was that?~ Flurry was surprised and left alone in the hall.
