Description
Thor, the God of Thunder and protector of Midgard, or Earth to us mortals. After his banishment from Asgard for his arrogance by his father Odin, he found himself juggling a romance with Dr. Jane Foster and the duty of protecting Earth and himself from both Asgardian and human foes with his magical hammer Mjolnir. He later discovers his banishment from Asgard was engineered by his step-brother Loki. While on Earth Thor has been a member of the superhero team the Avengers for most of the teams long history.
