FINALLY!!! I've wanted to draw Arcee for so long but robot girls are really hard to draw fat. I've been rewatch I g a bunch of prime and I forgot how awesome they made arcee. But it didn't just make me remember how much I liked her but I think I like her now more than ever, to the point where I consider her my favorite autobot next to cybertron jetfire. It's such a great design and she's such a badass.
I like how this came out but I think it could be better but I'm more happy that I finally did it at all and I'm sure you guys are happy I drew her.

Ahh Prime Arcee, one of my favorite looking characters from the show and one of few I actually have a figure of (the others being Knock Out and Terrorcon Cliffjumper). Nice to see her all plumped up.
Course, Beast Wars Blackarachnia is still my favorite TF Girl, you never forget your first.

Yeah, I found him at a convention once. The box he was in was actually a replica of his head so I got a twisted display piece as well as a figure.
Acre's figure is decent but yes, I do wish it was a little better. Still nice to have her in the collection.

The main thing about arcee's figure I wish was done differently is the shoulder panels are way too big and I wish her eyes were like how they are in the show

Transformers definitely look tricky to pull off, but you did her great justice! Rarely has a robot looked so soft, and her expression is cherry on top

Prime is easily the best entry in the Transformers Franchise, and I agree that Arcee is awesome. She's easily among my top 5 Prime Characters

G1 will always be kinda the best die to nostalgia, beast wars brought in a new dark tone to the franchise, despite being kind of corny I absolutely love the unicorn trilogy, and animated was a pretty good. But in terms of a stand alone series, I do have to agree that prime is by far the best

That's the problem with me though, I always want to put a bunch of detail in there. Which isn't a bad thing but it does cause things like this to be harder for me

it doesn't have to, you can try treating the armor bits (the color parts) as if their exterior clothing (which you can be detailed with) and the skin parts (aka the more flexible bits) softer. I would say the white and black parts on your arcee pic are the soft bits, while the blue is the more solid armor.
For example fav.me/d8cwyui Her armor doesn't change shape, but the softer bits flow outward. and if your going to extreme scales, let the armor flex XP sta.sh/0dhy7qd8wnx keep some shape but let them curl to the obvious swelling of the body X3 . Well that is an idea if you want to try it, there are plenty of femmes to play around with :3
