I agree. The blurred effect is great although, I think the photo thumb borders/frames and the lines below the text should not be blurred. Overall though, great design.

i find this an interesting approach to what looks like a portfolio site, it has certain aspects that may put of some potential clients wanting someone to take there pictures. Such things as the black background and strange typography may please some, while turning away others. Each section on well defined, but it would have been more interesting to see the structure of the site when it goes down a level to where the actual pictures are. do the links move to the top? How much area is given to the photo? The choice of background colours for the slightly blurred artistic effect is probably my favourite thing about this, i think it helps make it exciting.
