Scrafty was found by Dan as a mere Scraggy (He discovered that the Scraggy was trying to pickpocket him) Dan captured Rinzler, and he has been traveling with him ever since.
Rinzler is very mischievous. He likes to pull pranks, pick pockets, and "find" things for Dan. If he's in your area, you'd better check your pockets often.
