Very cool concept. I imagine the flesh wires unnaturally connecting him to the heavens.
The radiating heart and eyes give me a sense of the power the souls give him. The finger wires look ready to slither out and grab the next one. With so many ways to interpret the soul, I think the vague background was also a good choice (leaves "the story" behind the subject more up to the imagination).
Just curious: was there any Elfen Lied inspiration that went into this concept?

I saw this and thought it was L4D, like some sort of super witch-queen of all the zombies who would be the final boss if the games if it were a darker, plot-driven franchise with a rich story rather than a silly movie-parody.
