Remember this pair, i sure do, they twisted my mind with their freaky antics. This characters had such a complicated relationship that for a kiddie show it was mind blowing!!It was this cartoon especifically that got me interested in the toon art and animation, and its amazing how many cartoons were later inspired by the show.

Amazing likeness on Ren and a unique way of doing Stimpy - he looks so cuddly! Celever background too - how was that done, with the see-trough area around the purple slab?

Oh the BG was done in photoshop with a texture
that i downloaded from the web, then made several
copies and played with the fussion method, like
multiply and luminosity etc, then played with the opacity then
made the selection of the form and cut it.
Something like that hehehe

Thanks - I'll try it some day. I was wondering how the picture isn't a typical rectangle shape like most artworks here, but is tilted - difficult for me to explain I know! Is it a GIFF image?

ohhh i did the rectanle shape with the lasso tool,
and painted the everything else the same color as
the da page, so it would look like it was transparent,
but no its no a giff its actually a jpg.
