Crap, that is a really bad photo of me. D:
No matter, at least we're mâching over that 4.5 inch gash at least 5 times, from both sides for great justice. >:3

We're finishing the last 2 layers with white paper, for that nice finish.

I'd like to point out that I burned through about 3 bowls of that papier-mâché goop (bowl pictured) in total, so plan accordingly.

Remember to mâché in an overlapping pattern, there's no use in trying to be efficient with the paper.

Try to knead out any air pockets, but don't fret if you forgot some, you always have the sanding stage to correct those mistakes.
