Callie: Hello again, Inkling boys and girls! Hold onto your tentacles...Marie: 'Cause it's time for another Splatfest!
Callie: For those of you who are attending for the first time... Welcome! And here's how things go: In each Splatfest, every Inkling gets to pick a side from a little question that me...
Marie: ...And myself present to you. After making your choice, you go into Turf War battles and level up a special rank, earning points for your team! The winning team gets a prize! Now, today's one is quite unusual. Want to tell everyone about it, sis?
Callie: We'll both tell them: We were getting changed after the last Splatfest, and I saw her bare feet and said to her "Wow, sis! Your feet look pretty good!"
Marie: And I said the same thing! We kept throwing compliments at each other until we couldn't decide!
Callie: Bringing us to today's sides in Splatfest... Whose feet do you think are prettier? Do you prefer Callie's feet?
Marie: Or Marie's feet? Vote today in front of the lobby and get battling!

Marie: That's right. Since this was posted, we've been counting the votes from you wonderful guys and gals through the comments. It's simple, either myself or my sister. If you said both... Well, that counts as one for both of us, right?
Callie: I think so. Wow, a lot of guys and gals like our feet don't they?
Marie: They do, yeah! Anyway, be sure to keep an eye out. The winner will be posted before the first Splatfest 2015 Event begins! (That's on 20th June for NA Inklings, and 27th June for EU Inklings)

I remember the People's choice thing on the Wii, where one side is pink and one is green and you need to pick which choice side your on or you can just be in the middle. If you weren't referencing that then I feel like a fool.

Heh, very interesting. Where I was, it was called the Everybody Votes Channel. Splatfest does feel like that, but in Turn War form! In June, it's Cats vs Dogs (US), or Rock vs Pop (EU/AU). I just felt like putting my own fun spin on it, heheh.

It's a pretty hard question to answer, but I think that Callie has the slightly better feet of the pair. Not quite sure why, but they just look more alluring for some reason.

There are regions inside the human brain that each control how we recognize and identify things. There are also parts in our minds that associate this or that with arousal or affection. This is the part of our mind that determines what we find attractive and controls if we like guys, girls or others, i.e. Straight, Bi, Gay, etc.
In this region of the brain are neurons that control that, and at times some neurons make connections in our brain that aren't considered to be 'normal'. The area that allows the brain to identify body parts is close by the area in our minds that determines the arousal and attraction that I mentioned earlier, and most often, the area that allows the brain to identify 'feet' is the closest area and sometimes gets connected to that 'affection' area, which results in finding feet to be alluring and attractive, thus, a Foot Fetish (which is perhaps the most common fetish in the world).
It's not something most people can help, and few people actually want to get rid of it as it's not really harmful to anyone. No one can help what they find attractive, we just know what we like and accept it. What some consider to be 'anomalies' or 'weird' are normal to those with them.
