O hey, a character sheet cause I do OC art yes.
Rel here has probably one of the darkest backstories out of any of my characters so prepare yourself.

Rel is an ancient hero fighting against the dark days 3000 years ago with 3 other ancient heroes each from the major races of the world, Rel being the goddess. The ancient heroes are chosen by their weapon which first took the form of a small rainbow crystal which grew with the heroes they chose. Rel has a crystalline staff that increases her flow of mana allowing her to use her magic more efficiently.

Goddesses are an ancient race that went extinct during the last 100 years of the dark days. They are often characterized by their large wings and young bodies, those with older bodies are up to 20000 years old, and are known for their immense magical might. Rel is the only goddess that is currently alive.
(I know y'all probably already know what goddesses are but I had to explain this in the context of the world they are from)

The dark days was a period of time that lasted for 3000 years where the world was in absolute chaos. Incredibly dangerous monsters roamed the world in masses as the four major races, humans, hybrids, Demons and Goddesses, fought to push them to extinction. Those who could not fight could not survive.

Rel was deemed a heretic by her race at the age of 100, 9 in human years and the age when goddesses commonly show signs of magical abilities, when her magic to control living creatures awoke. This magic is a common practice among demons, the natural enemy of goddesses, so the lords immediately took her away to be punished for her heresy. A common punishment for heretics within the goddesses is to pin them to a wall through each limb and twice through each wing leading into constant violent lashings from multiple whips and finally ending with the victims eyes being gouged out of their head and left to suffer on a cold and rough floor. Rel was given this entire punishment. Most who retrieve this punishment do not live for long, more often than not lasting only about 20 minutes, but Rel's magic acted subconsciously from her painful thoughts wishing her out of the chamber she was in. Hundreds of different creatures and animals came to her reducing her blood loss by blocking holes and safely bringing her out of the goddess realm into the human realm where a small family of humans found her and took her in. Quickly her wounds were treat, all traces of the lashings she got had been healed but her eyes and points where she was pinned to the wall could not be healed fully. Leaving them as permanent scars and a constant reminder of the hell that she went through.
