Tears will prick into the back of your eyelids, and burrow into your brain. You'll be scarred like the cross-hatching on my skin from endless mental chemotherapy. My name isn't comfortable in people's mouths any more and I'm like an alien in an atmosphere that I can't breathe.

I'm not running away...

This war against my darker self is a battle that I have been fighting for far too long. The price is high and I don't know if I am strong enough to resist the pull of euthanasia, the brilliant taste of neon green concoctions designed to poison my mind.

Put that smile back on my face...

I can't feel my face any longer, the cold of this world has made it numb enough so all I can tell is that it is not smiling. I miss the laughter that rang from my lips before the final fight begun. I'll induce euphoria to move along from the way of the living, as I am dead on both sides of the border.

I'll leave how I arrived, so alive...

I don't want to die hooked on the ventilators of Brompton Hospital with deathly music floating through the walls. I want to die in explosions and car crashes and there'll be no body found or my cocktail overdose will leave the most beautiful corpse the world has ever seen. I want to be remembered as a person, not a cancer, and I know they'll understand. If He loves everyone, then my sin would be forgiven, my sins will be forgotten. I'll only find my Haven away from here, away from life. I'm sorry that I have to leave this way.
