i've been pondering over your stylized anatomy.. i've become gay for correct anatomy (despite being usually unable to portray it myself) and i dunno if i like your style as much anymore because of it. i think its best suited to larger pieces where its increased implication of movement would create more flow in the composition; i think the reason its standing out to me here is because its a simple figure composition with no other elements. the bat does add some movement, implying that she is flying or something, but this doesnt really agree with the pose or at least isnt blatantly agreeing.
my point is that with a single figure composition like this you are basically trying to convey a simple feeling, in this case freedom and beauty with a darker side; but the symbolism for freedom (flying) isnt immediately conveyed by her pose (which is the only thing we have to go by except for the bat and surrounding plumes of color (also she has wings but they seem relaxed, not implying flight either)).
i dunno i'm kind of rambling. take from it what you will my brains are a bit scrambled from a recent philosophical discussion

your process gifs are really cool to watch, have you ever thought about recording them and putting them on youtube with narration?

I love it :] !
And thanks for layer's size precision, I'm new with PS and noticed that everytime I want to do some details it's going like supernova with pixels ...

the take-home lesson is how the energy and expressiveness of the figure did not result out of the process at any point. it was there in the initial sketch, in the shapes and lines that were established at the very beginning.
its a most useful take-home lesson, too!

it looks good, only sharpness around the face feels kinda like a mask.

Wow, your method is SO much different then mine! you tackle single areas at once! thats cool! i tend to go kinda all, color all, shade all, highlight all, rimlight all, and so on

Very cool. I don't think I've seen a better process deviation. Your style of painting is magnificent.
