Feradis of the House of Kamion, youngest sister of Day [link] (boy on the left). I have a migraine from coloring this--I originally wasn't planning to spend so much time on this one, but for some insane reason I did anyway~ O_o;;; Gah....I *hate* backgrounds....I'm so bad at them~ ;___; But I think it's because I've been looking at 's art a lot recently, and her uberpretty backgrounds inspired me. @_@ Anyway, technical info: 9 hours coloring, 0.5 hours sketch, Photoshop 7.0. I have mixed feelings toward this one--it took me too long to dislike, so I will say that I think it's somewhat decent. O_o (btw, zoe, i do see what you mean by jul's cenedra pic....it never crossed my mind until now~ @_@; )

And, as promised--the accompanying excerpt from the story I put her in:

"I thought about his words the next time I looked upon my baby sister. Little Feradis Kamion, fifth of our House, the girl who didn't speak. I tolerate her, I'll admit, mainly because of the latter; she has yet to learn the arts of politics mastered by those around her. .... A round and curious face, full of enough innocence to dole out to every one of these damn Senators deciding my fate. I guess she'll be one of them soon enough. I wonder why I even bother. .... I doubted she realized the crimes I'd committed in order to receive my title. To her I was just another arrival, probably meant to keep the Suzerain company. .... We sat in silence, and I saw her yawn and remove a gold ringlet of hair from her mouth. She moved closer and, heaving a contented sigh, leaned her curly head on my arm. Within minutes she had promptly fallen asleep." -- Dayneth Kamion.
