Comic 50: Magic Tattoo?!Panel 1: Tony looking back over his own shoulder.
Tony: "Get what? Oh! This tattoo? Awesome, isn't it? I worked for a circus in the summer for three years in high school. One year, one of the magicians and I were talking after a show about our aspirations and dreams and I let slip that I wanted to get a tattoo, but wasn't sure what I wanted."
Panel 2: Tony starting to move his paint roller up and down again on the wall while talking.
Tony: "So, he showed me some of his old books one day and told me to pick one. I choose this one 'cause I liked how it looked, and he told me it was a protection ward back in his homeland. Like a good luck charm or something."
Panel 3: Tony standing with the roller vertical.
Tony: "I figured I wouldn't insult his culture by telling him it was just a cool design, and got it put on later that day. I mean, he was a stage magician basically, a really good one, but I knew that he knew magic isn't real."
Panel 4: Tony refilling his roller again.
Tony: "Do you like the design too Mortimer? 'Cause I've done a bit of tattoo art for friends before, and if you want I-"
Morty: "It's not that. I recognized it, hence the question."
Panel 5: Tony standing with the roller still in the pail, only now he's facing Morty again, away from the readers.
Morty: "When I was a young lad, before I became what I am, my homeland was filled with that ward. I've seen it work before, and it's not a luck charm. It prevents magical forces from touching you. It literally nullifies all magic that comes in contact with you."
