Description
I would describe it as a possible visualization of the process someone recalls memories at certain points in their life.

The numbers on the clock represent age. The short/hour hand is for the decade & the long/minute hand is the year.

For example, here the short hand is almost at 20, while the long hand is almost at 10. I was 19 when I made this so that's what I was trying to get across.

Going even deeper, our eyes are the windows to our soul, hence the windowpanes and there are curtains/blinds/shades there too.
Obviously when we go to sleep or become unconscious, the curtains close. Some people are born with their blinds closed. (i.e. blind people) However, there can be factors such as moments in life that shape us in certain ways, including one's upbringing or even lack there of, that may also pull these shades shut.

Also, the spiral staircase or even stare-case in this instance, is traveling downward to the point in time our minds created memories.
