We went to a slum area in Quezon City for our Gawad Kalinga (in English it means "to give care"). There were around 20 of us and we had a program to help the youth of about 50+ children and teach them basic values and give them the attention and care that they definitely weren't getting from their parents..

I don't remember the girl's name because there were simply too much names to remember in just one meeting. She was sleeping on the floor with her head on my blockmate's leg and it was a touching sight.

I hope this image can touch those who see it into acting to make this world a better place. I know it sounds cliché but we really should try and do so.
