Drawing this in a truck was more of a therapeutic practice. π§ββοΈI was struggling to be happy with my doodles, as it wasn't pretty enough to me. π The truck kept giving me squiggles and jerks to my ink pen, and I found myself to grow fustrated. π
Then, his words became my muse. π His appreciation for flaws allowed me to relax. π
I sometimes have the desire to be perfect, and it grants me anxiety as my perfectionism kicks in, thinking that if I fail to go above and beyond, it means I'm not doing good enough. π€―
You are one of the few who has told me that I should worry not. π You tell me it's okay, and that I don't always have to strive for perfection, as that's nearly impossible to be at all times anyhow. π You keep me calm. π You help me feel sane. π You help me see that even imperfection is an acceptable act, so that I may free my stress, and to pursue my happiness. π
With this in my mind, I was able to let my pen flow. π« To embrace the squiggles and jerks rather than reject it. π Drawing felt fun again, and patience was restored. π
