So yeah. This is the third episode of the series where none of the mane 6 show up. First was On Your Marks, then Hard to Say Anything. I really like the premise for the episode, how there is still one changeling who hadn't shared love at the end of season 6. Thorax actually did briefly mention that to Spike 2 episodes ago. It's good that we got some foreshadowing, and continuity. Also, baby changelings are super adorable. Anyway, back to the episode. Starlight and Trixie try to turn Pharynx good again, but he still feels a need to protect the hive even when there is no need to. He's not necessarily a villain per say, he just doesn't like change. He also feels rejected by the other changelings just by being himself, an outcast, which is exactly what Starlight and Trixie felt too. But when there was a chance for Pharynx to prove himself, he did. And when he transformed, I guess he transformed into the leader's personal guard. I think that title suits him rather well, even when it wasn't mentioned in the actual episode. Three cheers for another episode of this season I like!
