Really nice. The texture to the skin is so interesting and almost kinetic. Wouldn't this be under photomanips, though? I would consider this removed so far from the original that it isn't just a photograph any longer. It really has a digital manip look to it. Not that I still don't love it, I'm just curious why you submitted it where you did.
Fantastic, intense expression in your eye. I love that one eye is lost to shadow. I especially enjoy the perspective you chose.

Is this one of those million x unsharp mask things, or what? I'm puzzled by the way it looks so digitally painted. I really dig the composition and the expression. I'd probably love this even without all the "special FX". Gorgeous editing though. It looks so alive but with that little tint of mystery.

Anything that makes me stare for longer than 30 seconds and leaves me feeling strangly puzzled deserves a fave. I just know that I'll come back for more. I'm confused by the hair, and the aging effects. Very intriguing. You look so old and youthfully fragile at the same time. The is a very anxious piece. I am always amazed by how different all of your self-portraits look.
