Those couple of lights really lit up the place just right.

yeah, it was strange... and then there was a glow in the sky, probably from a town beyond the horizon.

That's quite fun, nice gentle lighting on the scene, and the little skyline, it seems like a setting for one of those Romaro's zombie movies *l*

Creepy. Black and white is perfect for this! No scary men with ski masks popped out with chainsaws? lol!

I had to laugh after catching this. The first time I looked at it, after seeing the title, I saw the light on the pole and thought: HO! Beacon! Only after looking deeper into the image did I see the church.

Cool... and strangely, it wasn't a church but a farm complex, storage area with a huge cross on it.

Ah yes! I've seen farms with various symbols alight. Gotcha! It's cool.

we don't have to think what we are doing. our work is infused with all the things we know, have seen, and witness as part of our artistic culture.

I agree. I was thinking about that today from the viewpoint of where I live right now and where I've been. And strangely I was thinking of you and your husband. I know nothing about you except that you appear to be educated and live ...i guess.. in Minnesota. Was thinking about expanses that intao photographs...

the internet is a strange beast. we get to know and not know people at the same time. hmm... i know you have grandchildren. that you are married. have degrees in photography. that you appear to be inspired by the world!

yes, the virtual knowledge may come closer in some ways to 'knowing' than real life. I am not a very talkative person in real life and I think few know the real me as well as my friends here on dA do. Most people never ever see all this sort of work or this kind of talk.

This looks like a beginning of a horror movie. Where the couple stops at a little gas station and some odd little man peers at them through a shattered window. Nice shot.
