Hot Shot's optics came back online as he began to regain consciousness, he recognized the ceiling above him and realized he was in the med-bay. He found himself lying on the medical berth looking around the room at all the scary looking surgical tools, yep, definitely the med-bay.
Hot Shot heard the door slide open and slowly sat up to see Side Swipe entering, in his hand was an oil drum filled with medium grade energon.
"Hey, Hot Shot. How're ya feeling?"
"A little better, thanks." The car-bot said.
"Hey, listen…me and Red Alert never saw Addie and Boomwave with you. Do you know what happened to them?"
Hot Shot stiffened with fear, he couldn't tell anyone that they were inside his fuel tank. How would they react? He had to make something up.
"Uh…she told me that the national guard had found her and told me to tell you guys not to worry about her. They're probably back home now."
"Well that's good to hear. I brought you some energon, you probably haven't had any for two days. Am I right?"
Hot Shot's fuel tank suddenly gave a grumble so loud it echoed off the walls of the room, Side Swipe stared at him with a widened visor as Hot Shot blushed with embarrassment.
"Hehe…yeah, you're right."
Side Swipe handed him the energon and he began gulping it down like he hadn't had it in years.

Addie got startled again by the sudden rumble of the tank under her, and it was so loud that she had to cover her ears. She then heard a sound she recognized as gulping and a sudden burst of purple liquid came pouring in from above. The occupants became terrified as the liquid level rose rapidly and began to throw their weight around to get it to stop.
The sudden jerking in his fuel tank caused Hot Shot to gasp in shock and got some of the liquid into his cycling vent, he coughed violently trying to get the drops of energon out. Side Swipe pounded on his back a couple times until Hot Shot ceased coughing.
"You ok, Hot Shot?"
"I'm fine, just got some energon down the wrong tube."
"Well, as long as you're ok. I'll let you get some rest."
"See ya later, Side Swipe."
Once he knew for sure Side Swipe was fully out the door and far away, Hot Shot placed his hand over the bulge and rubbed it concerningly.
"Addie? Boomwave? You both ok?" He asked.
"Yeah, just peachy." Addie said coldly.
"Sorry, I forgot you guys were in there."
"You should be sorry you moron!"
She kicked one of the walls and made an obscene gesture, to bad Hot Shot couldn't see it to get the point.
"So…how long are we going to be sitting in this stuff?" She asked.
"Probably 2 1/2 hours before it goes into my secondary tank." Hot Shot replied.
"Just great, like I wasn't wet enough already."
Addie was not very pleased about sitting in the pool of energon for the next 2 1/2 hours, but at least Hot Shot's swallows brought down some fresh air to breathe. She reached over to Boomwave and turned on the radio, she found that listening to music always helped her pass the time.
Addie kept the volume down as low as she could so that if anyone else came in, they wouldn't hear it coming from Hot Shot. The time seem to dull around her as her mind shut off from reality, that usually happened when she listened to music.
Addie was unsure how much time passed, but began to get a suspicion when the energon around her began to bubble. It soon got hot and began to boil as the tanks walls began to constrict, making less room for the occupants to move.
The energon level suddenly began to decrease as it got sucked into the tube leading to the secondary tank. Addie then caught a glimpse of the Mini-Con plate moving towards the tube, she managed to grab it before it disappeared into the point of no return along with the energon.
"Phew, that was close. If this got sucked into the tube, it would've gotten digested." She said to her Mini-Con buddy.
Her eyes suddenly widened when she realized something that she forgot about.
"Oh crap, Hot Shot doesn't know about the plate. Oh god, if it activates…oh man. How do I tell him this?"
Boomwave was unsure what to suggest to her, even he didn't know what she should do. They were both lucky Hot Shot didn't hear them cuz' he was sleeping heavily, and a good thing too, otherwise he would've panicked if he found out.
Addie decided not to tell him until she could think of how to do it without getting him freaked out. She lay back on her jacket pillow and shut her eyes as she began to drift off to sleep, underneath her, she could feel the vibrations of the gurgling in the secondary tank as it digested the energon.
