Description
An anatomy study. A friend of mine suggested using action lines and gestures to make my compositions move. Unfortunately he also suggested that I make thumbnails so I can plan my compositions better and I didn't listen. I rant out of paper for the other foot.

I also learned I need to practice feet, knees and elbows to give the figure more points of interest.

The pose was constructed without a model. I still have a lot of reservations about drawing in the nude. I don't think I have the state of soul of some of the classical artists who know how to humanize their subjects in the nude rather than objectify them like the modern artist.

My favorite classical artist is the unknown William Bourgereau. He knows how to draw nudes and yet gives emphasizes the person. Click for [link] more information.
