                                        Some scrutinized Melanie for her cloak, but she didn't care. Her cloak was found alongside her egg, so it was technically her only gift from her birth-parents, whom she didn't know, and wouldn't ever know. Like most wynglings, she was orphaned as an egg, but was fortunate enough to have a home other than the nook, which was good, because she didn't understand them anyway. Most days she would wear her cloak, but had only just recently taken up the task of putting it on each day, she felt safe with it; and she could hide in it, hide from the bullying, cause she'd always point things out that were not meant to be known.
