For the VANDAL char. battle on

This sketch is based loosely on the piece "Appetite For Destruction" by one of my favorite artist of all times, Robt. Williams.

At CSR we call ourselves VANDALs, because we are. Truth is, if it wasn't for my kids, I would still be drivin' around with a stolen licence plate, taggin' and throwin' slaps on every Mc Donald's drive-through window I found......not to mention some stuffs I did when I got really vindictive.

You see creative people have a fire in their soul. Some calm it with drugs, some calm it with video games, some calm it with hate, some calm it with religion, some calm it with sex, some calm it with love, some calm it with lust, some calm it with pride.......we as VANDALs, calm it with art.

You know you want it. Bridges broken with throwies. The local grocery sprayed with handies. A well placed slap on a police car. You guys love VANDALs. Watch any movie with action.......GRAFFITI in it. Watch any tryin'-to-be-tough truck commercial......GRAFFITI in it. Watch any movie about the truth in the city.....GRAFFITI in it.

We ARE tryin' to break the rules, we are tryin' to stir it up, we are tryin' to take the grey of the city and make it our canvas.......Why? Because it is truth, and hell yeah that shit is beautiful to make.

We aren't really VANDALs, we are naturalist. We are cavemen, tryin' to leave our mark...our storys. We are Pagans, tryin' to show our old ways. We are kids without guns, tryin' to show our anger. We are social security numbers, tryin' to show our names. We are VANDALs, but we mean no harm.......just art.

Get the violence off the streets, leave us alone. We just want to destroy things with paint and art......Just leave us alone.
