A bit of paint here, a bit of stock there, a bit of manipulation here.... and a touch of coolness everywhere.
Oh, Almost forgot. This is for the SSD Collection of wallpapers, which has YET to be released, so if any of you ssdians sell me out to Car, I'll flail you.
More resolutions to follow, as I get requests.
Resolutions available.
1680x1050 |1600X1200 |1440x900 |1280x1024 |1024x768 |800x600.

well the idea is to show it differently, the world is never right way up, in theory, seeming as we are floating ffs.

hehe, if ur into sci-fi books, try Fountains of aradise by Arthur C Clark.
Its about a 25K mile long tower into space....... That would be floating
Hey.. maybe u could do an illustration of that... but u'd have to read the book

Great wallpaper, I like the soothing dark blue background, and props for making multiple resolutions available. But the signature is obnoxious; large and bright and right up in the center. It mars an otherwise excellent piece.

My God - Really nice work!
I like the feeling of that even though the Earth is somewhat large, it is very small in the huge space. You've portrayed that perfectly.
And also, that explosion makes it very cool! Almost tells its own story!
of course!

so empty yet so full...a void of space paradoxically containing so many worlds, nebulously shining in an endless universe. fav'd

Uhhh... you KNOW that you placed the nukeboom some 2000 km (1.5k miles) too far north to be in the middle east, right? O_o NW Russia is pretty spot on, from what I see...
I just hope the U.S. morons who call for micro-nukes have a better grasp of geography. >
Technically, though, excellent work.

beautiful. To me it illustrates how we are destroying ourselves, and that there is nobody around us but ourselves to save us.
