...'cuz this shit just got-OH HEY my first deviation of the year!For the kickass =shadowtoon , who was a sweetie to offer to draw me a free art request, to which I countered with an art trade! Shadowtoon, sorry it took such a long time to finish up with my half, but I was actually working on another version before this, but ended up hating it halfway through and scrapped it. Not to mention that your awesomely awesome deviation of my request deserved something that was worthy of it. I feel bad for making you wait, though, so I'll throw in the scrapped version as some sort of compensation ^_^;; [link]
Anyways! Because Shadowtoon drew my AatR team, I decided to reciprocate with his assembled party! Toon's got a wicked set of characters, although I have to say I'm the most smitten with Snickers, resident demon cat with the oversized battle axe. I think it's safe to say by now that cats that kick ass are my weakness.
Spent a while experimenting with colors and functions this time around. This year I resolve to improve shading and nail down a coloring style! And name my layers, dammit. Navigating around 40+ untitled layers really comes back to bite you in the ass later.
Shadowtoon's half. Yes, Toon, I would still totally have that makeout session with it.
