Though they might consider moving into ret-con territory, however, given that they pretty much mastered the Deus Ex Machina with the last couple of episodes.

Don't want to get too off topic, but I had major issues with season 2 that I can (and have) spilled my thoughts out onto the internet already.Β  And I was one of the people that defended season one against the biggest criticisms leveled against it when it ended (and I'll still stand by my assessment of season one to this day as well).
