It's finally here! Part four! We've come a long way, but there's still 3 parts remaining! Once again a big thank you to and Mallac for providing input and advice on this leg of the journey! Most of all though, I have to thank whose superb dramatic readings of my comics is the primary motivating force to finish this project.
This is also the first part of this comic that was entirely rendered in Manga Studio 5 EX.
Anyway, on to the next part! We're nearing the homestretch now!

Granny Smith lost 2 children? Does that mean one of Applejack's aunts/uncles is dead, or does that mean her mom and dad were siblings? I hope it's the former.

I think it means that the mom was her daughter, but the dad was as good as a son to her.

oh god right in the feels. Im glad the show has never touched on what happened to Applejacks parents, it leaves the door open for artists and writers to make amazing pieces like this.

This reminded me of "The Land Before Time" for some reason, when Littlefoot's mother died, and Littlefoot grew up with his grandparents.

I don't cry at anything, but dang, listening to that YouTube dramatization, especially when she started crying and saying it was her fault...it almost sent me over the edge.

What I was trying to convey was that Granny considered her son in law as close as if he was her biological child. Therefore she lost her daughter and son.
