i enjoy toying with my fears, as an artist, and as one who is greatly uncomortable with "larva", i really wouldn't appreciate a massive maggot coming out of my hands...Related content

This is really brilliant.
I love how the hand is positioned, giving the maggot a good position to come out of the hand.
Though, you could have gone for more blood, as well as some tearing of the skin instead of just bunching up around the maggot.
It makes it look like it wasn't as forceful as an event as it should have been.
But over all I really love it. Props.

From a distance I thought it was a carrot. I was worried that your worst fear was someone stabbing a carrot into your wrist, and wondered when this would ever happen. I'm happy to learn that maggots, and not carrots are your worst fear.

It's cool because there's actually a Central American insect that can do that. It's called Dermatobia hominis, or Human Bott Fly. They lay their egg on your skin and the tiny larva burrows its way in and feeds on the skin tissue. They may cause some skin irritation and give you one nasty looking blemish but that's about the worst of it.

Hands are hard to draw, and you've done an admirable job. Perhaps the maggot could be a little more threatening-looking... but it's scary enough as it is

the ripple in the wound is life like and the shading is good....the maggot could use a bit of touch up around the mandibals.(my opinion)

Oh this is creepy. I myslef have no fear of insects at all, but something like this creeps the hell out of me. I actually had a dream recently where something like this happened to me...best I don't go into detail
