Finally! For MGC's [link] contest this month which is Black and White (no color) so I drew this one, kinda black and white because it's a flash back, they're thinking about the time when they were allies instead of enemies
I "colored" this with 4 prisma'color' pencils: White, Black, Gray 30% and Grey 70% I've never done anything like this before. I've never used colored pencils but didn't use any color. so it was a new experiment
they're supposed to be fighting together, not Demona ready to smash his head in

Intentional or not, I kind of love the ambiguity of Demona's pose. Your commentary on it really describes their relationship pretty perfectly, even if you only meant it in reference to this scene.
