Description
From my Bleach fanfic cosmology, one of the Huit Abnégations du Nihilisme (Eight Abnegations of Nihilism), the eight strongest eight-horned demons of the 8th level of hell.

He represents Ontological Nihilism- that there is nothing at all and everything is a dream that will end when one wakes up, rendering it without purpose. In application, it means that reality is but a dream he is having. All aspects of reality are brought about by his subconscious desires and emotions, including his current self, and evolve according to these shifting currents. On a personal level, Alepta is always weary, droopy-eyed, and is always eager to fall asleep. He is also very observant and logical, doing the most practical thing to end situations so he can return to sleep that gets interrupted.

He is based on the Red King from Through the Looking Glass and Azathoth- immensely powerful beings that are always sleeping but that sleep is maintains reality because if they awaken, the dream and therefore reality will end.
