How's this for something completely different? This is actually based on the very first bit of FNAF fanfic I ever wrote. I was active in the Muppet fandom at the time, writing fanfic based on the Muppets and Fraggle Rock. Fraggles are creatures who live in caves and call the outside world "outer space." To them human beings are "Silly Creatures" because of our incomprehensible (to Fraggles) behavior. Traveling Matt is the one Fraggle who has decided to come out of the caves and explore the world of the Silly Creatures. In each show he encounters something new, which he completely misunderstands. He thinks the purpose of skiing is to achieve "white legs" (casts for broken bones). He will stand in front of a car, imitating the honking of its horn, thinking he is having a conversation with it. He sees mannequins in a store window, thinks they are people meditating by standing perfectly still, and goes to join them. My favorite take was his encounter with a rugby scrum ; he thought it was a giant spiderlike creature, and when the ball popped out he believed it had laid an egg. He narrates his adventures in the form of postcards, which he mails back to Fraggle Rock.

Anyhow! In my little story, Matt ended up as a night guard, stuffed into a Freddy suit, but because he's so small it did him no harm. I rewrote it to make for better visuals.

Fraggle Rock is a wonderful show. It's aimed at kids, but it is smart and well worth watching as an adult.
