Here's installment of the comic that started out as outtake reel for Requiem with a Birthday Cake and since devolved into any dopey FNAF gags that come into my head.

That was the Puppet's point.Β He was 'confessing' about the guards to the nightmares to show them that they were not alone in having done terrible things when they did not understand what they were doing.Β Springtrap, on the other hand, chose to murder children, knowing full well how evil that was.

BOB had killed more than just eleven children. Even before the company decided to expand their business during the Fredbear era, BOB continued claiming victims and he didn't keep count of his murders and commited them for the fun.
What Marionette and the ghost children did wasn't right, but keep in mind they were killed their traumatized sought solace in the animatronics they liked. They've all had lost a sense of self and couldn't remember their past lifes other than that the nightguard (which was BOB's occupation) had killed them.
They weren't in their right state of mind. Unlike the children BOB had a choice, and his choice was to kill the them.
