My personal work."Red Eagle" He was the classic Hero of Thailand. I'm re-design to look futuristic.

This costume of ''Red Eagle''looks like a merger between the batsuit that Batman wore in the Joel Schumacher-Batman Movies(without the nipples and enhanced code-pieces),the Batsuit Batman wears in the Christopher Nolan-Batman Movies,the batsuit Batman wore in the ''Batman Beyond'animated series as well as the costume the DC Comic character Nightwing(Dick Grayson-the original Robin)wears and the costume the DC Comics character Red Arrow(son of Green Arrow)wears.You`re right,you did give the Costume a very futuristic design-and a very streamlined one,to boot.
This is just such a powerful piece of artwork.The fiery red,the debris and particles,the ''Red Eagle''in classic,valiant Super-Hero pose as a protector.The physiology,the defined biceps,chest muscles and ripped abs,''Red Eagle''has the kind of classic bemuscled,powerful Super-Hero physique.The girl looks both beautiful and intellectual.The stunning kaleidoscope of varying colors bring this to life in a very immediate and visceral way and really make it jump,breath,live and dance.This is better than many,many movie poster and Comic Book Covers that I have seen.This is so Kick-Ass that if this were any more Kick-Ass,it could have been called Kick-Ass(but that`s already taken).
I always love finding about Super Heroes from different countries around the world! Now I know about ''Red Eagle''thanks to ths!

In Spain we also have a hero called "Águila Roja" (Red Eagle), but its a hero from the medieval ages, behaves and is dressed in a similar way as Altaïr or Ezio from Assassins Creed (roaming the roofs, stealth kills, etc).
It is not similar to your "Red Eagle", but I though it was just interesting data to share 
Awesome work by the way, I love the design, reminds me of "Cyborg-Ninja" from Metal Gear.

I'm not sure about comics but I do know that the character originated from a series of novels in Thailand.
