Commission for KathleenThis was commissioned at the Yaoi con actually~
T'was a bit of nostalgia drawing these two, given I haven't drawn ZADR in a while. T'was also nice to try markers on these two.
Almost looks like they're in a dance step kiss~
Traditional medium: drawn, inked, prisma cool grey markers

I really love this scene. It has such a warm and tender feeling to it. I think it'd be really awesome if you used something like this is Rilzit as a claming moment where they are dancing. A stress reliever moment. Very beautiful picture.

Okay. I'll start off with Zim's head.
I think it's slightly out of proportion. It's too big, I think. I know Maybe have it more slender or something?
The collar of Dib's trench is bothering me, too. It seems like you were a bit confused while drawing it as to what you were going to do with it. It's like almost a count dracula thing, but not even cause it's only one one side. xD Did you do that on purpose? If you did, then it's alright.. but it just looks a bit strange to me. And how on the other side it looks like it has places for the straps to go- and it just doesnt look right from how close together they are in it, too.
Another thing that sort of bothers me is Dib's left leg. (For us- the right leg, but his left. xD) It sort of bothers me because of it's relation with the trench coat behind it. It really seems as if it should be touching the trenchcoat, especially at the bottom of it- and it just looks like it isnt in this. x: But that it should. x: Maybe work on the shadow on that part of the trench coat to signify if it was touching or not? Or perhaps ripples or something? The shadow is kind of not meeting up with the leg and.. that's just all kind of bothersome to me.
Zim's right arm (which would be our right as well. :> ) seems kind of out of place... Like the perspective is different from the top part of his arm and his bottom part. That it looks like the bottom part of his arm is pulled back even more and in that position, that's kinda hard and uncomfortable, no?
Now, all that aside...
I really do still love this!
You made Dib's face look SO incredibly soft and sweet... The strap's hooks thingies look so nice. I love how you didnt center it. It makes it look like it has more volume this way- better dimension. It really is quite lovely. Makes it seem real.
I'm also in LOVE with Dib's right hand (our left. xD)! You know, I'd think that, "No, Neo cant get any better with hands. They're all so amazing, there's just no room for improvement!" And there you go, PROVING ME WRONG. Jerk. xDDD It's SO awesome. Really is. The form of it is gorgeous.
Zim's clothes look awesome. Not in the awesome of "Oh, I like what he's wearing", but "Holy crap, she gives great perspective!" I can really see the shape of Zim's body and that he's not just a flat drawing. The ripples in his shirt dress thing is equally awesome. It's so very easy on the eyes. (Again though- form of his body is great thanks to your great shirtsmenskills and colouring and so on!)
Zim's antennae are beautifully done, too. I love how you have it hook off but still look IC. <3 As well as I love how you did Zim's expression... I think how simple you did Zim's closed eye was a very good choice and such.
So over all, I'm very happy with this piece. <3
