Description
This is a ginormous Anaconda at the San Diego Zoo. I've got a picture up in scraps taken from a different angle so you can get an idea of the enormity of this (I'm guessing) fellow. You can see it here:

This picture I took by standing on my tippy toes and carefully putting my camera's lens up to the glass to stabilise it, because of course I wasn't going to use my flash that close to him (that'd be cruel!) The camera slightly tapped the window when I did that, and so I got a great view of him looking right at the lens.

But look at the size of those scales!
