The XMPT-02 is an airburst grenade launcher developed by the country Golden Commune and weapons manufacturers Alliant Kakarejo. It was fielded to soldiers right after it's creation, it fires 25mm grenades that are set to explode in mid-air at or near the target.

Fires in an arc trajectory. Ideal for attacking entrenched positions and enemies at awkward positions, have mid velocity and 10-round, are useful for blanketing an area to deny enemy access, or for taking advantage of the chaos of a distant firefight. The weapon is also very effective at knocking out enemy positions at low and medium range, at ground level or elevated positions.
