If Shadow's powers relate to destruction, and Sonic's powers relate to wind, then Knuckles, with his floating island and Master Emerald, tends more toward protection. And let's face it, he needs powers like that, since everybody wants his real estate and treasure.Speedpainted in Photoshop.

This is wonderful...the soft colors, and the vibrant glow, all give this particular picture of Knux a rather softer and more gentle side to his already gruff exterior.

Beautiful! I love the glowing of the emerald and the peaceful look on Knuckles. For a speedpaint, it looks awesome. I like how you left the background dark too. Just helps to give off the feeling of peace. Very powerful picture.

I think Sonic Team should take Knunkles more seriously. Since Shadow appeared in the series he totally lost his position as Sonic's first rival.
