Description Sometimes blaming the victim is completely on the money.

This is a defense I always hear whenever I come across someone with a gallery full of stuff that's either traced or otherwise not their own work. It's a victim complex, a martyr routine, and it's just plain conceited. First of all, how exactly do you know you're being singled out? No, really, what makes you think you're the first person I've chastised for making bogus Magic: The Gathering cards in a web applet using randomly-Googled images? How exactly do you know you're the only one who is getting featured in Anti-Tracing groups? What evidence do you have that we had no issues like this before you came along?

Here's a hint: YOU HAVE NO CLUE. You're only saying that because it's the easiest way to feel when you're in the wrong, and it's certainly an easier thing to be than a real artist. Get over yourself, and either try to prove everyone wrong or shut your stupid mouth. After all, as a wise man once said, "Better to be silent and thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt."
