Just some study sketches.

1. The 'ribs' on Axis' torso are not only to support his flexibility, but also links the chemical pack on his back to the rest of his system. He doesn't always act it, but Axis is very cautious when it comes to chemicals. Only the most dangerous are stored on his person for 'emergency' cases.

2. This is probably the ONLY other drawing other than his profile picture of the club that's a full body shot. Christ I hate drawing legs....

3. Terra and Axis! Chibified for convenience and because I am one LAZY artist.

4. Just to demonstrate Axis' Wolverine claws.

5. Pre-war Axis, Terra, and Skidlock. While Skidlock can be protective of his younger brother, he became worried when Terra and Axis became closer, thinking Axis had ulterior motives. He started hanging out to keep an eye on them while Axis was wary that Skidlock--who got everything he wanted while Axis always got the short end of the stick--would take Terra away. Turns out Terra and Skids got along great and Axis learned to bear his brother's presence--though he was always unsettled when the two were alone...
