Distinguishing features: large scythe like hand blades, tentacles, levitation, echolocation
Description: Another horrid abomination that only lives on the island of death, these are actually a mysterious group of amphibians. When they aren't swimming through the caves, they can levitate and "fly" through the caves and chase after prey. Once they are close enough to their prey they will impale it with the huge hand claw and then devour the prey. These creatures are responsible for killing over twenty crew members over the 5 years of expedition at the island. They can change the color of their skin to hide in their environment to help get closer to their prey. They hunt alone while young hunt in huge packs and hunt like piranhas and will eat anything. Only deathbringers will eat adult wraiths. Though they have huge eyes they actually can barely see and use echolocation to find prey. They can also use their tentacles to capture prey and break the back and necks of prey. Though they have been seen in the ocean water around the island, its highly unlikely that they will make it to the mainland due to large marine reptiles.
