very nice picture, it looks like a 2010 place lol
its strange that theres no one even there, not one person. its so hard to do this type of shot over here in perth because tehre are always people around. either people looking at you really weird or people that looks like they are going to mob you lol.

Be careful with HDR, most photographs stand by themselves very well.

My rule of thumb is that it's a good HDR if that's not the first thing you think it is.

I very much agree with your definition of a good HDR photo. It is extremely easy to push HDR to the point of highly unrealistic lighting. I originally thought this photo was a 3D image, and was stunned to realize it was a photo. This is one of the few times when I like the HDR result.
