That real? Nah that can't be real... That looks too good to be real... Is it real? Awesome shot. Honestly I looked at it and thought it was a digital drawing for a little bit just because the color and lighting is just too much for my eyes to comprehend.

No 3D program was used here ... just 3 different exposures edited with a "HDRI" program called Photomatix ... and some more post-processing in Photoshop ... that's all! Just photography and post-processing ... this subway station is entirely real!

Is this entirely real? I've familiar with the HDR effect but those small boxes on walls just doesn't seem believable, do the serve any purpose? Is this some kind of retro station? It looks like one of those old movies about the future.

This picture spawned a lot of speculations in my mind, DD well deserved!

These small boxes are like little mirrors ... they serve no purpose than decoration I guess ... this is just a really futuristic looking subway station - perfect for photography!

Essen Hauptbahnhof subway station also looks great with all the blue neon lights.

mittlerweile mache ich gar kein HDR mehr - es geht auch
ohne ... man hat den Effekt schnell satt und dieser unnatürliche
Look passt wirklich nur zu wenigen Motiven - wie eben diesem hier!
